Alexandra “Ally” Benevento was born and raised in Western New York. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 2004, Alexandra went on to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law where she earned her J.D. in 2009. After graduating from law school, Alexandra worked as a Legislative Aide for the South Carolina House of Representatives.
Following her time with the legislature, she went on to open her own law practice. Alexandra joined the Strom Law Firm in late 2012. She focuses her practice on criminal defense in both state and federal courts.
Alexandra Benevento is a member of the South Carolina Bar and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for The District of South Carolina and all South Carolina State Courts at the Circuit, Magistrate and Municipal levels. She is an active member of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (SCACDL).
In her spare time, Alexandra enjoys photography, reading, Italian cooking, and cake decorating. She and her husband live in Columbia with their two daughters and two Shar-Pei puppies
